Charts and economic news on this page are imported manually once a day, not streamed live from your broker. Prices may differ slightly from your broker's exact feed due to spread, execution timing, or the manual import schedule - treat this page as reference context, not tick-accurate data.
How to use this page
- Use the symbol tabs (XAUUSD, BTCUSD, US500, majors) to switch which instrument's charts are shown.
- Click an event name under the arrow (▸) toggle to only show charts from days that event occurred.
- Use the High / Medium / Low chips to filter events by importance.
- Use Filter Dates to narrow the chart list to a specific date range.
- Toggle News Time Markers to mark each chart at the time its event(s) happened.
- Toggle Trade Levels to overlay your entry/target/stop-loss zones for trades placed that day.

Share Your Trading Journal (limited to the last 100 trades)
Create a public link to share a snapshot of this account's trades with others. Anyone with the link can view it without logging in.
Export Trade History
Download your full trade history as a CSV file. Matches whatever's currently filtered on the Dashboard (Tags/Symbol/Direction/Status/date range).
Appearance
Color Theme
Pick a color theme for the whole app. Applies instantly and is saved to your account, so it follows you between devices.
Sidebar Style
Hamburger tucks the menu behind the ☰ button until you need it - Fixed pins it open on the left. Small screens always use the hamburger, whatever you pick here.
Tag Categories
Define your own categories (e.g. Mistake, Setup, Emotion) - each tag below can be assigned to one.
Tags
| Name | Category | Description |

Contract Sizes
A price move only equals real dollars once it's scaled by how much of the instrument one lot actually represents (e.g. Gold/XAUUSD is 100oz per lot, so a $10 move on 0.01 lots is $10, not $0.10). This is separate from leverage, which only affects margin required, never P&L. XAUUSD defaults to 100 automatically - add other symbols you trade below, or override the default.
| Symbol | Contract Size (units per lot) |

Playbooks
Define your trading strategies and their rules, then assign a Playbook to any trade from the New/Edit Trade modal. Stats breaks down performance per Playbook so you can see which strategies are actually working.
Import Trades from CSV
Upload a closed-trades CSV export from your broker (e.g. Exness). Uploading a new file replaces whatever was imported last time - trades you added manually, plus any tags/notes on previously imported trades, are left untouched.
Your chart data is always in GMT+2. If your broker's CSV times are GMT+0 (e.g. Exness's "_utc" columns), choose +2 here so a raw 13:00 becomes 15:00 - changing this updates all your already-imported trade times immediately.
Last Import
No CSV has been imported yet.

Danger
If you have trades that aren't showing up under any account, this re-attaches them to your current Primary Account.
Note: this only works if you still have just one account. If you've made any new ones since the issue happened, delete those first.
This will delete all journal data (trades, tags, notes, etc) in the account "".
This will permanently delete your user account and all its data.
How can we help?
Everything Bullion Book can do, in one place. Search or jump to a topic below.
Dashboard
Equity Curve
A live chart of your cumulative trade P&L. Green above $0, red below. Hover to see the exact value for any day; the badge on top always shows your current total.
Performance Rings
WINS, LOSSES, OPEN, WASH, AVG W and AVG L update live as you log trades. Each ring's fill is proportional to the real percentage.
Trade Log
Click any column header to sort, including Confidence. Click a row to view full trade details. Use the ⋯ menu on a row to mark it as a wash or delete it.
Account Balance
Shown top-left of the sidebar. It's your deposits minus withdrawals, automatically adjusted by realized trade P&L - click the pencil icon to manage it.
Privacy Blur
The eye icon (top of the sidebar) blurs every $ figure across the whole app - handy for screen-sharing or streaming without exposing your P&L.
Trade Filter
The sliders icon opens a panel to narrow the Dashboard by Tags, Symbol, Direction or Status - it also affects Stats and CSV exports while active.
Quick Date Range
The row of buttons above the stats cards (Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc) instantly narrows the Dashboard and Stats to that period. Use Custom to pick your own From/To dates. Click the active button again, or Reset, to clear it.
Quick CSV Import
The file icon next to the eye icon (top of the sidebar) opens the CSV file picker directly from any page - same import as Settings → Import Trades, without leaving where you are.
Risk Guardrails
Set a Max Daily Loss and/or Max Trades Per Day in Settings → Account Settings. A gold warning banner appears here at 80% of a limit, turning red once it's hit - a built-in "step away" reminder. Filters can't hide it; it always reads your full day.
Logging Trades
New Trade
Click New Trade in the sidebar. Set a Symbol, optional Target/Stop-Loss, then add one or more Buy/Sell actions with quantity, price, fee and date/time.
Long & Short
If your first action is a Buy, the trade is treated as Long. If it's a Sell first, it's Short - profit/loss and Trade Levels colors flip accordingly.
Adding Actions
Click + to add another leg - it defaults to the opposite action of the last one (Buy → Sell, Sell → Buy) and copies its quantity, since closing out the same size is the common case.
Confidence Score
On the Journal tab, rate how confident you felt about a trade from 0-10. It colors from red to green and shows as its own sortable Dashboard column.
Screenshots
Upload one or more chart screenshots per trade from the Journal tab. View them alongside a trade's details, or click one to open it full-size.
Commissions & Fees
Enter a fee per action/leg - it's automatically subtracted from that trade's P&L. Total fees paid across all your closed trades show as a Stats card.
Breakeven Range
Settings → Account Settings lets you set a $ range - a win or loss within that amount counts as breakeven for win-rate/streak purposes, without touching the actual dollar P&L.
R-Multiple
If you set a Stop-Loss, each closed trade shows its return in units of risk (R) - how many multiples of your planned risk you actually won or lost.
Playbooks
Assign a Playbook (Settings → Playbooks) to any trade to track which of your defined strategies it followed - see Playbooks below for details.
Mark as Wash
From a row's ⋯ menu, mark a trade as wash to treat it as breakeven - it stops counting as a win or loss anywhere, including your balance.
Edit & Delete
Click a trade row to open its read-only summary, then hit Edit to change anything. Deleting always asks for confirmation first.
Trade View Chart
Opening a trade shows that day's real candlestick chart (1m/5m/15m) with your Entry/Exit marked and a gold line tracing the trade's path - available for any symbol with chart data on the News page. Chart drawings you make here are shared with the News page's chart for the same day.
Playbooks
Defining a Playbook
Settings → Playbooks lets you name a strategy and write out its rules - entry criteria, stop-loss/target rules, what setups qualify.
Assigning to a Trade
Pick a Playbook from the dropdown on the New/Edit Trade modal's General tab. It shows on that trade's read-only view too.
Playbook Performance
The Stats page breaks down trades, win rate, P&L and contribution % per Playbook, so you can see which strategies are actually working.
Importing Trades
Broker CSV Import
Settings → Import Trades lets you upload a closed-trades export (e.g. Exness, MT4/MT5) - each row becomes a trade with real entry/exit legs and your broker's own reported P&L.
Time Adjustment
Set how many hours to add to your CSV's raw times so they match the chart data (fixed at GMT+2) - changing it retroactively re-times every already-imported trade too.
Re-Uploading
Uploading a new file replaces the previous import, but any tags, journal notes or wash-flags you added to those trades carry over automatically (matched by ticket number).
Exporting
Settings → Account Settings → "Export as CSV" downloads your full trade history - it respects whatever filter is currently active on the Dashboard.
Tags
Adding Tags
On the New Trade modal's Journal tab, type a tag name and press Enter. A new tag is created automatically the first time you use it.
Spotting Tags
A small tag icon appears next to a row's ⋯ menu when it has tags - hover it to see which ones.
Managing Tags
Settings → Tag Management lets you rename, categorize, describe or delete any tag across your account.
Custom Categories
Define your own categories (e.g. Mistake, Setup, Emotion) in Settings → Tag Management, then assign each tag to one from a dropdown instead of typing free text.
Tag Performance
The Stats page breaks down trades, P&L and contribution % per tag - great for spotting which setups actually work.
Accounts
Multiple Accounts
Use the Primary Account dropdown at the top of the sidebar to switch between accounts - the Dashboard, Stats, Calendar and balance all follow whichever is active.
Deposits & Withdrawals
Click the pencil next to Account Balance to add, edit or remove transactions - they're combined with trade P&L to compute your balance.
New Account
Create as many accounts as you like from the same modal - useful for separating a live account from a demo, or tracking multiple strategies.
Deleting an Account
This permanently removes that account and every trade, note and transaction inside it. It cannot be undone.
Day Notes
Mood & Conditions
Click New Note to log your mood, the market condition (up/range/down) and volatility for any date, plus free-form notes.
Inline With Trades
Notes appear right inside the Dashboard trade log, interleaved by recency alongside your trades - not hidden in a separate list. A note naturally sinks down as newer trades or notes come in.
Pinning a Note
Click the pin icon on a note row to keep it fixed at the very top of the log regardless of date - useful for an announcement or reminder you always want visible.
Multiple Per Day
Each "New Note" creates a fresh entry - there's no limit to how many you can log for the same day.
Calendar
Month Grid
Every day shows that day's total P&L and trade count, colored green or red. Use the arrows or the month/year dropdowns to navigate.
Weekly Summary
The right-hand rail totals each visible week's P&L, return % and win/loss count at a glance, labeled with its date range (e.g. "11 - 17 May"). On narrow screens it moves below the month grid.
Day Drill-Down
Click the "X Trades" link on any day to open a list of every trade placed that day - click one to view its full details.
Weekly Review
Week Grade
Every week gets an A+ to D grade from three ingredients: win rate (40%), profit factor (30%) and how many traded days ended green (30%). One-trade weeks grade harshly by design - consistency needs data.
12-Week Strip
The bar strip at the top shows your last 12 weeks at a glance - green up, red down. Hover for a week's P&L, click to jump straight to it. The arrows and "This Week" button navigate too.
Week Equity Curve
Cumulative P&L through the week, one dot per trade. Hover a dot for the trade's details; click it to open the full Trade View.
Takeaways
Auto-written observations for the week: how your win rate compared to your all-time average, your strongest and toughest days, and which tags made or cost the most money.
Day by Day
Click any traded day to expand its individual trades - time, symbol, P&L and R-multiple - and click a trade to open it. The Best/Worst Trade panel is clickable the same way.
Weekly Notes
A free-form notes box per week - what worked, what didn't, the plan for next week. It autosaves as you type and syncs to your account, even on weeks with no trades.
Record Week
A gold trophy chip appears on the grade card when the selected week's net P&L is the best in your entire trading history.
Share Week
The Share Week button on the grade card posts your week's grade, win rate, profit factor and trade count to the Community Trade Wall - percentages and R only, never dollar amounts.
Coach
Your personal trainer for trading: it studies ALL of the active account's trades (at least 10 closed trades needed) and turns them into strengths, weak points and a training plan.
Trader Fitness
A 0-100 headline score: 65% performance (win rate, profit factor, drawdowns, consistency) + 35% discipline (stop-loss usage, tagging rate, guardrails set). Discipline counts because it's what keeps performance repeatable.
Strengths & Weak Points
13 behavioural checks, including ones no other page shows: do you hold losers longer than winners, do trades taken within 30 minutes of a loss underperform (revenge trading), and do your heaviest trading days actually lose money (overtrading).
Goals
The coach turns your #1 weak point into a measurable goal (e.g. "stop-loss on 100% of your next 20 trades") with concrete steps. Accept it and a progress bar tracks trades since acceptance; tick off steps as you go - it all saves to your account.
Completing a Goal
When you've logged 20 trades since accepting (or ticked every step), a Complete button appears and the coach picks your next focus. You can abandon a goal any time for a fresh suggestion.
The Golden Bull
The bull on the Coach page stays calm... until you hover it (or the sidebar's coffee cup). Try it.
Community
Everything on the Community page is opt-in and privacy-first: shares only ever contain symbols, percentages, R-multiples and grades - dollar amounts and account sizes are never shared. You need to be logged in to view or post.
Trade Wall
A public feed of trades and week reviews shared by other traders. Trade cards show the symbol, direction, win/loss, R-multiple and return % - week cards show the grade and weekly stats.
Sharing
Share a closed trade from its Trade View (Share with Community button), or share a whole week from the Weekly Review's grade card. Sharing is always a deliberate action - nothing is ever posted automatically.
Reactions
React to any card with 🔥 🚀 👏 - one of each per card. Click a reaction again to take it back.
Your Cards
Cards you posted show a "you" chip and a delete button. Removing a share deletes it for everyone but never touches your actual journal data.
Weekly Leaderboard
Strictly opt-in: hit Publish my week to appear on the board, re-publish any time to refresh your numbers, or leave with one click. Rank by Total R, Win Rate or Profit Factor, for this week or last week.
The Podium
The top 3 get podium cards - gold takes center stage with the crown. Your own entry is always highlighted wherever you rank.
Stats
Key Metrics
Win Rate, Expectancy, Profit Factor, Avg Hold times, Win/Loss Streaks, Top Win/Loss, Avg Daily Volume, Avg Size, Total Fees and Avg R-Multiple, all computed from your real trades. Click any card for a short explanation of what it means.
Pro Score
A single 0-100 score averaging 6 normalized metrics on a radar chart: Win %, Profit Factor, Avg Win/Loss, Recovery Factor, Max Drawdown and Consistency. The breakdown bars beside the radar show each score - click any bar for a plain-language tip on how to improve that metric.
Equity Curve
The same style of equity chart as the Dashboard, sized larger with a visible price/date axis.
Wins vs. Losses
A side-by-side comparison of your winning and losing trades - count, total P&L, average, average hold time and your largest of each.
Day & Hour Breakdown
Two diverging bar charts show which weekdays and hours have historically been profitable or costly for you - hover a bar for its exact P&L, click it to open every trade behind it. The day chart also shows insight cards: best/toughest day, most active day and best win rate.
P&L Heatmap
A day-of-week × hour grid showing where your money is actually made and lost - green cells profit, red cells bleed, intensity scaled to size. Hover any cell for its trades, win rate and P&L; click it to list those exact trades and jump into any of them.
Total Account Trades
A count-up of every trade on the account with a hoverable win/loss/wash/open composition bar, this-week and this-month activity, and a progress bar toward your next milestone (50, 100, 250...).
Tag, Symbol & Playbook Tables
See trades, win rate, P&L, P&L%, average R-multiple and contribution % broken down per tag, symbol and playbook - click any column header to sort. Avg R only counts trades that had a stop-loss set.
MAE / MFE
Shows your average Maximum Adverse/Favorable Excursion - the worst drawdown and best unrealized profit reached during a trade - plus an MFE:MAE edge ratio (above 1x = the market moves in your favor more than against you). Works for any symbol with chart data (XAUUSD, BTCUSD, US500 and the majors); same-day trades only.
Performance vs. Volatility
Splits your closed trades into "high" and "low" volatility days based on each day's real intraday range, measured as a percent of price so every symbol compares fairly - see if your edge holds up when the market really moves. Works for any symbol with chart data. Click the ? for the exact split method.
News & Charts
Charts and economic news are imported once a day from MetaTrader 5 - prices may differ slightly from your own broker's feed. Click the ? button on the News page itself for the same disclaimer and a quick usage guide.
Daily Charts, 10 Symbols
One interactive candlestick chart per trading day. Use the symbol tabs (XAUUSD, BTCUSD, US500 and the 7 major forex pairs) to switch instruments - tabs are greyed out until that symbol has data.
1m / 5m / 15m
Each chart has a timeframe toggle. Any interval not available for a given day is simply greyed out.
Economic Events
USD calendar events (with Actual/Forecast/Previous values and a colored importance dot) appear above each day's chart. They're hidden by default - the None chip is on until you pick High, Medium or Low to show those tiers.
Filtering Days
Expand the arrow next to "All Charts" to filter days by event type (e.g. only CPI days) - there's a search box to find event names fast. Filter Dates narrows the list to a From/To range. Filters stack.
Trade Levels
Toggle "Trade Levels" to overlay your Target/Stop-Loss zones on the chart for any trade entered that day - green for the favorable side, red for risk. Only trades matching the chart's symbol are shown.
News Time Markers
Toggle this to drop a marker on each chart at the exact time of that day's USD economic news events.
Measuring
Shift+drag on any chart to measure price, percent, bar count, time and volume between two points.
Lock / Unlock
Charts are locked by default so scrolling the page doesn't accidentally pan a chart. Click the lock icon (bottom-right of a chart) to interact with it directly.
Chart Tools
Every day-chart (News page and Trade View) has a small toolbar in its top-left corner with drawing tools, indicators and an object tree.
Drawing Tools
Trend line (2 clicks), horizontal line (1 click, shows its price on the axis), rectangle zone (2 corners) and Fibonacci retracement (click the swing high, then the low). Press Esc to cancel a half-placed drawing.
Indicators
EMA 20, EMA 50, SMA 200, Bollinger Bands (20,2), VWAP and RSI 14 (in its own pane with 70/30 guides). Toggle them from the chart-line icon; they recompute automatically when you switch timeframes.
Object Tree
The layers icon lists every drawing and indicator on that chart, each with a remove button, plus Clear All. Anything you add stays until you delete it here.
Saved to Your Account
Drawings and indicators save per symbol + day and sync to your login, so they follow you between devices - and a drawing made on a News chart also appears on that same day's Trade View chart.
Movable Toolbar
Drag the grip lines at the top of the toolbar to park it anywhere in the chart, so it never covers the candles you're studying.
Settings
Personal Info
Update your display name and profile photo.
Account Settings
Set your currency symbol, default Symbol/Qty/Fee for new trades, whether Return % is based on a trade's own capital or your full balance, Breakeven Range, and your risk guardrails (Max Daily Loss / Max Trades Per Day). Hover or click the ? next to any field for a quick explanation.
Appearance
Pick from 10 color themes - Slate, Light, Midnight, Ocean, Forest, Amethyst, Ember, Bullion (black & gold), Neon (black & pink) and Blossom (soft pink) - and choose your Sidebar Style: Hamburger (menu behind the ☰ button, the default) or Fixed (pinned open). Both apply instantly and follow your login between devices. Small screens always use the hamburger.
Contract Sizes
Fixes P&L math for lot-based instruments - e.g. Gold/XAUUSD is 100oz per lot, so a $10 move on 0.01 lots is $10, not $0.10. This is separate from leverage, which only affects margin. XAUUSD is built in; add others you trade.
Playbooks
Define named strategies with their own rules, then assign one to any trade to track which setups actually perform.
Tag Management
Rename, categorize, describe or delete any tag across your account.
Import Trades
Upload a broker CSV export to bulk-journal your trade history, with a timezone offset to line times up with the chart data. See the Importing Trades section above for details.
Share Your Journal
Generate a public link with a snapshot of your last 100 trades - no login required to view it. The shared page shows your net P&L, win rate, profit factor, an equity curve and the full trade list.
Export Trade History
Download your full trade history as a CSV, matching whatever's currently filtered on the Dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does chart data come from, and how often does it update?
Charts and economic-calendar events are imported once a day from MetaTrader 5 and added to the News tab - you don't need to download or upload anything yourself. Because it's a daily snapshot from one broker's feed, prices can differ slightly from your own broker's, and the newest day only fills in completely after the next morning's import.
Is my data private?
Yes. If you're logged in, your data is scoped to your account and only accessible by you. Guest mode keeps everything local to your browser only. Community sharing is entirely opt-in, and shared cards never contain dollar amounts - only symbols, percentages, R-multiples and grades.
How do I cancel my monthly membership?
Any time, two ways: cancel from your account page on the platform where you subscribed (Ko-fi/PayPal subscriptions have a cancel option), or email ruanforex@gmail.com from the address you subscribed with and it will be cancelled from our side. Cancelling never removes access - every Bullion Book feature stays free.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes - the layout adapts automatically. On phones the menu lives behind the ☰ hamburger button, the dashboard's trade log becomes compact tap-able cards (tap one for the full Trade View), and every page reflows to fit the screen with no sideways scrolling. On desktop you can choose between the hamburger and a pinned sidebar under Settings → Appearance.
What happens to my data if I delete an account?
Everything tied to that account - trades, notes, tags and transactions - is permanently removed. This can't be undone, so the app always asks you to confirm first.
Can multiple trades share the same tag?
Yes - tags work like labels. A trade can have several tags at once, and each tag's Stats breakdown includes every trade that carries it.
Why does Return % look different on a trade than I expected?
Check Settings → Account Settings → "PnL % Calculation Type". It can be set to return-on-the-trade's-own-capital, or return-on-your-full-account-balance, which gives very different percentages for the same dollar result.
My manually-entered P&L looks wrong for gold/forex - what's happening?
A price move only equals real dollars once it's scaled by the instrument's contract size (e.g. Gold is 100oz per lot). Check Settings → Contract Sizes and make sure the symbol you're trading is listed with the right value - this doesn't affect CSV-imported trades, which already use your broker's own reported P&L.
Can I bulk-import my trade history instead of entering trades one by one?
Yes - Settings → Import Trades accepts a closed-trades CSV export from brokers like Exness (MT4/MT5-style reports). Re-uploading a newer export replaces the previous import but keeps any tags/notes you added.
